What Are Toxic Zones

Certain areas of the map turn hostile — dense infected outbreaks and hazardous gas that punish anyone who wanders in unprepared. They're some of the most loot-rich spots on the server precisely because most players avoid them.

Gearing Up

• A gas mask with fresh filters is the minimum to enter a toxic zone safely.
• Bring medical supplies — infection and hazard damage add up fast if something goes wrong.
• Check your filter's condition before you go in; a mask with a failing filter won't save you.

What's Inside

Toxic zones hold loot you won't find in normal areas — the kind of gear worth the risk if you're geared for the hazard. Just remember the infected inside don't care that you're prepared.

Survival Tips

• Never enter without a mask and spare filters — no exceptions.
• Move with a plan; toxic zones are a bad place to get cornered by infected.
• Watch your filter timer and leave before it runs out, not after.
